How Pretty Mummy was born

Pretty Mummy was born following the despair and frustraion of breastfeeding Aaron! After weeks of perserverence and trying to help him make friends with my boobs we got there! Then there came the unwanted distractions, pinching, pulling, yanking -need I go on! What should have been a relaxing and bonding experience once again became a frustrating chour.

As a new mum I realised that this behaviour is perfectly natural, babies are truly sensory creatures, from the day they are born into the big wide world they are simply curious and keen to explore. They are naturally fascinated by all of the surrounding colours, shapes, textures, sounds (etc).

It was when Aaron was four months old I did some exploration and discovery myself and found Nursing Necklaces. They were exactly what I needed to keep Aaron engaged while he fed and we both soon fell in love with them. Having researched into the benefits of Nursing Neccklaces I felt even better about my pretty beads. What started as despair became inspiration and drive, a drive to let more people know about these fantastic necklaces and inspiration to build a business at home and create a happier balance between work and childcare. And now, ironically thanks to Aarons yanks, pulls and pinches I am now the very proud owner of Pretty Mummy.
