We shopped and shopped in order to find the highest quality Nursing Necklaces around. Finally we found them in the UK, Canada and America...

There are many different types and standards of Nursing Necklaces available on the market. At Pretty Mummy we have extreamely high standards, your childs safety and enjoyment are whats most important to us, therefore we will only ever stock necklaces with the following safety features:

 Made from 100% plastic, non-toxic beads
 Fitted with a special plastic safety popper 
 Strung using special cord with a tested breaking strength of 50 - 100lbs 
 Safety Tested 
 Fully sterilisable, waterproof and washable

In a nutshell we will never stock necklaces that have been made from glass or woodern beads or strung on hemp or fishing wire. We will only ever stock necklaces that have a special plastic safety popper fitted and all of our necklaces hqave been safety tested...and passed!!!! All of the necklaces we stock can be washed in water and mild detergent and sterilised using cold water and a product like Milton (Don't ever use a steam steriliser though!)

As you can see all of these nursing necklaces are designed as an aid for you and not as a toy for your baby. Just as with any item which is not specifically designed as a toy they must be used under strict supervision of an alert and responsible adult and they are certainly not suitable for independent play.
